Solid Copper, Built to Corrode Beautifully
The body is worked from high-quality solid copper, chosen because it resists corrosion rather than merely hiding from it behind a coating. That is what lets the same piece live in a bathroom or out by a pool without the finish failing. It arrives with a bright polished sheen, left unsealed on purpose. From there the surface oxidises on its own schedule, deepening into a warm patina that records where the water runs and where your hand reaches.

Thread compatibility. The fixed neck is supplied with a standard 1/2" BSP connection, which fits the majority of shower arms. If your installation uses a different thread standard, contact us at [email protected] before ordering and we can advise or produce the connection you need.

Is the shower arm included?
No. The arm you see in the photographs is there to show the head in context. What you receive is the 12" head with its fixed brass neck, which attaches to the arm already on your wall or ceiling. If you need an arm as well, email us before ordering and we will quote one.
Does the head tilt or swivel?
No, and that is deliberate. The neck is fixed rather than jointed, which removes the part most likely to loosen, drip or seize over time. The angle is set by the arm you mount it on, so choose your arm with the spray position in mind.
Is 1.27 GPM enough for a 12 inch head?
It is a rainfall spray rather than a high-pressure one, so expect a soft, enveloping fall across the full face rather than a forceful jet. That is the character of a wide rain head. If you want a hard, concentrated spray, a smaller diameter will suit you better.
How does the unlacquered copper patina develop?
It arrives polished and bright. Over weeks of water contact and air exposure the surface oxidises into warm browns and deeper copper tones. This aging is natural and expected, and it is part of what the piece is, not a defect. A standard copper polish restores the shine whenever you prefer that look.
Can it really be used outdoors?
Yes. Copper resists corrosion well, which is why it has been used on the outside of buildings for centuries. Outdoors the patina develops faster and goes deeper, so a pool or garden shower will darken sooner than one installed in a bathroom.
Can I install it myself?
For most setups, yes. The fixed neck threads onto a standard 1/2" BSP shower arm, wall or ceiling mounted, so it is a straightforward swap with basic tools and PTFE tape. If your existing fitting is unusual, check the size guide first or email us.
What if I am not satisfied?
You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return it for a refund. The item must be unused and in its original packaging.
