The cone is worked up from solid sheet metal, not cast and not plated, so there is no coating sitting on top waiting to flake. What you see is the material itself. The taper is formed by hand in Marrakesh, which is why the slope and the hammer marks vary slightly between pieces. Inside, the narrowing shape slows the water before it reaches the 6" face, which is what turns a hard jet into a steady fall.
What the Taper Gives You
- Tapered body. The cone gives the water space to settle, so the fall lands soft rather than sharp.
- Solid metal, no plating. Brass or copper all the way through, with nothing on the surface to chip or peel.
- Finishes that age. The unlacquered options arrive polished and darken into a patina with use.
- 6" face. Wide enough to cover the shoulders without flooding a small shower.
- Indoors or out. Suited to a bathroom, a pool shower or a garden installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do the three finishes differ?
Brass is the golden one, and the safest pick if the rest of your fittings are warm toned. Copper runs pinker and moves faster, so it will look lived in sooner, which is why it tends to go outdoors. Burnished brass skips the waiting, since the gloss has already been worked down. The cone, the face and the flow are identical in all three.
Is the wall arm included?
No, you are buying the head by itself. That keeps it usable with whatever arm is already on your wall. We do make a matching one at 16" (roughly 40 cm) and we can cut it to another length if your wall needs it. Email us first and we will add it to the order.
Will the finish change over time?
Yes, and that is the intention. The unlacquered finishes leave here polished. Water and air then do their work, pulling brass towards golden brown and copper towards russet. None of that is a fault to report, it is the finish behaving as it should. If you would rather keep it bright, a standard metal polish resets it.
Can it really be used outdoors?
Yes. Both metals have been used on the outside of buildings for centuries, so weather is not a problem for them. Expect the colour to move faster out there than it would in a bathroom, since the exposure is constant.
Does it fit a standard arm?
It comes with a 1/2" BSP connection, which matches most arms you are likely to have. If yours uses something else, send us the detail before you order and we will either confirm it works or make the fitting you need.
Is the tapered body available larger?
This page covers the 6" cone. Other diameters and other body shapes are listed separately in our shower head collection. If you want this taper in a size you cannot see listed, email us and we will tell you what is possible.
What if it is not right for me?
You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return it for a refund. The item must be unused and in its original packaging.

- Covered for repair or replacement in the case of manufacturing defects.
- Visual damages must be reported within 15 days of delivery with photos and proof of purchase.
