Heavy Brass, Not a Plastic Shell
At twelve inches across, weight is the honest test. A plastic-bodied head of this size feels hollow the moment you lift it, and the thin ones flex at the joint once they are full of water. This is solid brass throughout, which is what gives it the heft and the resistance to rust and corrosion that a humid bathroom demands. The surface is raw brass polished to a shine and then left alone, so it oxidises on its own schedule into a warm, vintage patina.

Is the shower arm included?
No. The wall-mounted arm you see in some of our photographs is there to show the head in context. This listing is for the showerhead on its own, sold separately from the arm. If you need one, email us before ordering and we will quote a matching brass arm.
How far does the ball joint tilt?
The brass swivel adapter at the connection lets you angle the head and it holds the position you set. That matters more on a 12" face than a small one, since a head this wide needs aiming to sit over you rather than over the edge of the tray.
Will a 12 inch head fit my shower?
Measure your tray before ordering. Twelve inches is generous, and in a compact enclosure the spray can overshoot and wet the surround. In a walk-in it is exactly what you want. The swivel helps, but it cannot shrink the face.
How does the unlacquered brass age?
It arrives polished and bright. Over weeks of water contact and air exposure the surface darkens into warmer, deeper tones. This aging is natural and expected, and it is part of what the piece is, not a defect. A standard brass polish restores the shine whenever you prefer that look.
Which bathroom styles does it suit?
The skirted bell profile is a traditional shape, so it reads naturally in Victorian, farmhouse and Mediterranean interiors. In a modern bathroom it works as a deliberate contrast rather than a match, which some people want and some do not.
What if I am not satisfied?
You have 30 days from the date of receipt to return it for a refund. The item must be unused and in its original packaging.
