The 8" King version weighs approximately 3.5 lbs—slightly heavier than the original due to the denser base casting. This substantial heft is a hallmark of true solid brass construction.
Yes—the faucet is designed for both 1-hole (with deck plate) and 3-hole (8" spread) installations. The faceplate is included but optional. Just let us know your sink configuration at checkout if you prefer to omit it.
